PTX Machine

Recommended Posts

Guest Daffy

Hi,

Sorry for posting here as i do not see a PTX forum available. I've recently started lab 1 PTX course. however, i could not seem to reach the machine stated in the lab WIN10-WEB 10.100.10.240:65520.

The ip address assigned to my VPN is from a totally different network,(175.12.80.11) what am i missing out?

Please logout and login again.

You should be able to see the PTX sub-forum

There is a static route on the VPN configuration so the subnet you mentioned is perfectly reachable.

I just tried all PTX labs today without any issue.

Thank you, for helping. I have resolved the problem by resetting the VPN access. Similar problem with my friend.

Another problem that we faced again was executing task from Covenent framework. It kept saying "uninitialized". Which was resolved again by resetting the VPN.

Hope this would help other students out there.

Spend most of my hours troubleshooting such connectivity issues instead of learning ):

@DaffySpider consider reinstalling Covenant. I have had similar problem and reinstalling covenant (or at least delete all data and settings if you have used it before) has resolved the issue. The problem here comes from Covenant and not the labs. Hope that helps you :)

having similar issue accessing 10.100.10.240:65520 .

Restarted VPN but it did not help. If i keep restarting my lab , i will never finish the lab but my lab time will.

Seems like it is not vpn issue. Ah?

I need to restart entire lab just because of the 1 machine. Lost 3 grunts.
