eTHPv2 - Error remoting to an IP - Suggestions and Corrections

Any one else experience RDP connection failure? I am in the middle of an exam and I expected remote to an IP via "Remote Desktop" but it appears not to connect using RDP or VNCviewer. Am i to use a different or specific Remote desktop tool because it doesn't state it in the exam guide? Any one to respond ASAP?
